Cardiac Stress Nurse

Under the direction of the Cardiologists perform cardiac stress testing including regular, persantine, dobutamine, and cardiac stress echos. Additionally the position requires arranging for hospitalization for positive test results. Perform cardiac stress testing as directed by physician. Review charts for compliance for test required. Explain procedures to patients/provide patient education. Initiate IV placement as needed. Order supplies. Administer and document medications as ordered. Acquire patient history. Perform billing duties. Current RN/LPN licensure by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing. Current ACLS certification. Previous EKG interpretation experience. Majority of time spent - walking, standing, bending.
