Collaboration with colleagues, especially when teaching multi-section courses, is common and encouraged. Service contributions at the level of Department, College, and/or University are expected as a key component of this position.Minimum Qualifications:A Ph.D. or a postdoc in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field and evidence of teaching effectiveness are required.Preferred Qualifications:Significant teaching experience at the postsecondary level. Examples of course development and/or the implementation of modern pedagogical methods are valued. This position has renewable, three-year contracts. Our new colleague will teach introductory chemistry lecture and laboratory courses, with opportunities to teach other courses in a range of sub-disciplines.
