Youth Mentor/Driver at Norris Square Civic Association – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Youth Mentor and Driver to join our community outreach team. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact young people's lives while ensuring their safe transportation to various activities and programs. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide mentorship and guidance to youth participants, fostering a positive and supportive environment

- Plan and coordinate activities, workshops, and outings that promote personal growth and skill development

- Safely transport youth to scheduled appointments, activities, and events in a timely manner

- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to all safety and traffic regulations

- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all youth during transportation and activities

- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members regarding youth progress and transportation schedules

- Document attendance, activities, and any incidents as required

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Prior experience working with youth or in a mentoring capacity preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively

- Responsible, reliable, and punctual

- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety procedures

- Must possess High School Diploma

- Have at least 21 years of age

- Compassionate and patient attitude, with a genuine interest in youth development
