Job Description
The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) works to strengthen Tribal public health systems and honor Tribal sovereignty. Our Communications & Events Department amplifies this mission by ensuring NIHB’s work, priorities, and Tribal voices are shared with impact across Indian Country and beyond.
This team oversees communications, branding, media relations, events, and convenings. From leading high-profile events like the National Tribal Health Conference to building culturally grounded messaging strategies, the department ensures that NIHB’s work is seen, heard, and felt.
We are building a talent pool for future opportunities within the Communications & Events Department. While we are not actively hiring for all positions today, we invite individuals passionate about storytelling, media, and Tribal engagement to join our candidate pool.
Location: Roles are primarily based in Washington, DC, with some opportunities for hybrid or remote flexibility depending on the position.
