Job Description: As an Automotive Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Your role is crucial in helping maintain the reliability and performance of our customers' vehicles. You will work closely with other technicians and service advisors to provide excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
  • Check and top off fluids (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission, and windshield washer).
  • Inspect and replace filters (air, cabin air, fuel, and oil filters).
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Keep the service area clean and organized.
  • Assist with other shop duties as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle maintenance needs.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
