Job Description

  • Job Summary
    • Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and providing treatment to help patients recover from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans as instructed, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment. Records patient's reaction to treatment and provides status reports at the end of each treatment. May require graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Requires an associate degree. Requires a state physical therapist assistant license. Typically reports to a physical therapist.
  • Regulatory Requirements
    • Associate degree in physical therapy or relevant equivalent post-secondary education to achieve licensure.
    • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in good standing with the State of Ohio.
    • Current BLS
  • Language Skills
    • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
    • Additional languages preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skills
    • Self-directed, motivated individual
    • Excellent computer skills
