Whiddon College of Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor, Research non-tenure track position. The faculty will conduct independent research into mechanisms of alternative splicing and RNA modifications, publish peer-review papers, apply for extramural funding from the NIH and other agencies, and oversee the Nanopore sequencing resource in the department.

Competitive applicants must have a PhD, postdoctoral experience, and demonstrated aptitude in competing for extramural grant support.
