About This Position

Radiology Tech FT

  • JOB RELATIONSHIPS
    • Responsible to: Radiology Department Manager
  • DEFINITION OF POSITION
    • Responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures and patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Professional
      • High school graduate and graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
      • One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist.
      • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
      • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
      • BLS certification within 3 months of employment.
      • Work directly with radiography and other students to advance the field by passing knowledge and expertise to students.
      • Works with the Clinical Preceptor by providing feedback and issues with students.
      • Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and other Window application skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
