- Support the preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications with the USPTO and WIPO.
- Correspond with foreign agents regarding trademark filings and related activities.
- Communicate with clients about the status of trademark matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trademark activities.
- Conduct preliminary searches for trademarks and review relevant reports.
- Capture and log billable time in the firm's timekeeping system.
- Stay updated on changes to intellectual property rules and regulations.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 10 years in trademark and copyright prosecution.
- In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws in various jurisdictions.
- Experience with IP docketing systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Document Management Systems.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
