• Support the preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications with the USPTO and WIPO.
• Correspond with foreign agents regarding trademark filings and related activities.
• Communicate with clients about the status of trademark matters.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trademark activities.
• Conduct preliminary searches for trademarks and review relevant reports.
• Capture and log billable time in the firm's timekeeping system.
• Stay updated on changes to intellectual property rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 10 years in trademark and copyright prosecution.
• In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws in various jurisdictions.
• Experience with IP docketing systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Document Management Systems.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
