Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanical/Electrical Technician is a highly skilled maintenance professional responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across a wide range of building systems and equipment. This position serves as a subject matter expert who works closely with Maintenance Utility Technicians and the Supervisory/Management teams. This role supports both routine and emergency maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic and advanced level repairs and general maintenance

• Assist with basic and advanced plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical repairs and installations.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production machines and material handling equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.

• Respond promptly to minor facility-related service requests and emergencies.

• Open, close, and secure all buildings and systems as required.

• Work with waste water and hazardous chemicals in accordance with codes and regulations

• Receive instructions and priorities from the Supervisor and/or Management.

• Operate forklifts and assist with loading/unloading trucks.

• Use mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment proficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.

• Manage stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify Supervisor when restocking is needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Other duties as assigned
