MAINTENANCE MECHANIC at Calendar Holdings – New Braunfels, Texas

Overview:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to conveyors, forklifts, buildings and all other equipment as required.

Essential Functions:

• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.)
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Repair. (Forklifts, conveyors, building and other equipment.)
• Able to learn and use work order system.
• Schedule and maintain records of preventative maintenance on key machinery and equipment.
• Assist in the general upkeep of the facility.
• Work with contractors and vendors to solve problems.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as determined by supervisor to be necessary in performance of the job.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

· At least 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience and preferred in Distribution/Warehouse facility.

· Mechanical knowledge required.

· Electrical experience preferred.

· Welding and cutting preferred.

· Trouble shooting Electrical and mechanical.

· Experience working on conveyor systems preferred.

· Able to perform basic building maintenance such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry.

· General warehouse experience.

· Basic computer skills required.

· Must have a valid TX driver license and reliable transportation.

· Previous experience in fast pace environment.

· Able to life 50lb, bend, kneel, squat, stand and work in elevated heights.
