Technologist (XR) at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are accepting applications for an X-Ray Technologist at the Heart & Vascular Institute. The applicant will perform as a member of the team during cardiac, peripheral or neurovascular procedures. Responsible for safe procedural imaging, management of ancillary equipment and other associated tasks. The position will include progress to additional roles, including scrub assistant and monitoring. The applicant should be an above-average technologist who is eager to learn. He/she will be working with an exceptional professional team. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, team-oriented professional with a positive demeanor. Experience in vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures and an understanding of hemodynamics is a plus. Must have a current LA radiology license and ARRT registry. Additional RCVT certification is advantageous. ACLS is required and can be obtained through our career institute. The applicant should be flexible, adaptable and able to cover rotating call assignments.
