Duration: 2025/2026 School Year, extension possible
Commitment: Part-time; 10-30 Hours w/preference of one full day in person
Linea Energy, a rapidly growing renewable energy company, is seeking a highly motivated undergraduate intern to serve as a Chief of Staff / Strategic Operations Intern for the 2024/2025 school year. This role will work directly with Linea’s CEO and operate at the center of the organization, supporting strategic, operational, and data-driven initiatives across the company. Founded in 2022, Linea is an innovative company with a mission to re-envision renewables and accelerate the clean energy transition through relentlessly efficient development and innovation.
As an intern at Linea, you will work across every department and region of the company, including Development, Engineering, Finance, Asset Management, Operations, and Executive Leadership. You will support company-wide initiatives and gain exposure to how a multi-gigawatt portfolio of solar, wind, and energy storage projects is developed, evaluated, and managed across the U.S., while working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CEO on strategic and operational initiatives
- Own and support efforts to clean, organize, and validate pipeline and portfolio data for external reporting
- Maintain and improve data quality within Sitetracker (Salesforce-based), ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Assist with analysis and reporting related to company growth, M&A activity, and portfolio management
- Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to support analysis, reporting, and executive presentations
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior, planning to graduate at end of the current, or next academic year, or recent graduate
- Preference for a major in economics, business or management sciences. Self-starter who is hungry to learn required.
- Interest in the renewable energy industry and intent to pursue a career in renewables post-graduation
- At least one prior internship experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with comfort working in data-heavy, detail-oriented workflows
- Ability to learn new software tools quickly; familiarity with Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to work in-person in Linea’s San Francisco office for at least one day per week through internship
