The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent support to customers by responding to inquiries, generating quotes and processing sales orders, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first attitude.
Job Description
- Provide Customer Service support to our customers and sales force via phone calls, emails, etc.
- Generate quotes, process orders and provide order status to customers.
- Interact with internal / external customers to provide information response to inquiries about products and services.
- Resolve customer complaints - escalate to Supervisor or additional departments when appropriate.
- Handle and resolve questions / concerns including ERP related errors.
- Manage, maintain and update customer accounts.
- Perform other customer service and sales related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
- Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Extremely thorough organizational and planning skills.
- Strong knowledge of customer service and establishing contacts.
- Ability to handle numerous projects at one time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop close professional relationships.
- Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Some ERP experience (SAP experience a plus).
Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is between $27-$35/hr. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
