Scheduling Coordinator at HighFive Healthcare – Memphis, Tennessee

At Sexton & Weiskopf Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, we are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. We pride ourselves in putting our patients first, and we are seeking a team member who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Oral Surgeon's schedule.
• Master the use of the computer scheduling system.
• Administer the company email account.
• Greet patients in a warm and friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls and respond to voicemails professionally with outstanding customer service.
• Communicate with referring doctors to gather required information for appointments.
• Collect co-pay from patients.
• Maintain updated patient information in each patient record.
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and practice policies at all times.
• Perform other related duties and projects as necessary or assigned.

• 1+ years of dental or oral surgery practice experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of dentistry and oral surgery is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills as you interact with patients, families, doctors, and team members.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in person, on the phone, and over email.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem solve effectively.
• Understands and accepts responsibility for the schedule.
• Basic computer software knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
