Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - PRN at Cass County Memorial Hospital – Atlantic, Iowa

Cass Health is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team in Atlantic, Iowa, located approximately 85 miles west of Des Moines and 68 miles east of Omaha. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative rural hospital environment where providers deliver a broad scope of anesthesia services and play a meaningful role in caring for the community.

The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for patients of all ages across a variety of clinical settings including surgery, same-day procedures, obstetrics, and emergency services. Responsibilities include performing pre-operative assessments, developing and managing anesthesia plans, administering and monitoring anesthesia during procedures, and supporting post-anesthesia recovery. CRNAs also collaborate closely with surgeons, providers, and nursing staff to ensure safe, patient-centered care and may provide services such as peripheral nerve blocks and obstetric anesthesia.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold current CRNA certification, an Iowa RN license, and BLS and ACLS certification, with PALS required within one year of employment. Iowa controlled substance and DEA licensure are required. Experience performing peripheral nerve blocks and practicing in hospital or surgical settings is preferred.
