Scope of Role
The 2nd Shift Pack Off / Stacker is a critical member of the production and packaging team, responsible for stacking, organizing, and preparing finished products for cold storage, distribution, or shipment. This role ensures that all products are handled safely and accurately while maintaining product quality and supporting overall production efficiency.

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Accurately stack and organize finished goods (e.g., cases of burritos, sandwiches, or other packaged products) according to pallet configuration guidelines and customer requirements.
- Inspect packaged products for correct labeling, coding, and overall quality before stacking.
- Wrap, label, and secure pallets to ensure safe handling and transport.
- Move completed pallets to designated staging or cold storage areas using manual pallet jacks or powered industrial trucks (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removal of packaging materials, debris, and damaged goods.
- Assist with line changeovers, sanitation activities, and general support of packaging line operations as needed.
- Complete required documentation accurately (e.g., pallet tags, load sheets, inventory tracking forms).
- Follow all safety guidelines, GMP standards, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with line operators, leads, and supervisors to maintain steady production flow and address issues promptly.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and handle items up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and stack diagrams.
- Basic math skills for counting cases and completing documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 1 year or more of experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
- Prior experience working in a high-volume food manufacturing or cold storage environment.
- Experience using manual pallet jacks or certified to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts).
- Familiarity with GMP standards, food safety practices, and warehouse inventory procedures.
- Knowledge of palletizing best practices and load stability principles.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with variable temperature zones (hot and cold environments).
- Exposure to raw and cooked food ingredients; strict PPE compliance required.
- Standing, bending, and repetitive hand and arm movements throughout shifts (up to 10 hours).
- Frequent lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
