About the Role:

Schedule: 1-2 day per month from 7:30-3:30

Platinum Dental is seeking a dedicated Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team! Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatments.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

Experience working in an Oral Surgery Office with Sedation .

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Regulatory Understanding: Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Additional Skills: Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus.
• Computer Skills: Good computer skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
• Reliability: Well-organized and reliable.
• Certification: X-ray certified.
