Territory Sales Manager (Sales Representative) Heavy Construction Equipment Industry

Essential duties:

· Learn and Understand Company provided systems to fully track, record, follow-up, and capture all related sales activities in a timely and accurate manner. Use of the system should contribute directly to the proposal process, winning the sale, total volume, territory awareness, participation and customers satisfaction.

· Understand, and uses manufactures programs and resources to attain acceptable market share levels

· Sells whole goods, parts, and service as a customer solution and build long term relationships within their territory to minimize personal and company goals

· Develops a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends

· Coordinates and conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work sites

· Develop a strong knowledge of used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for trading purposes

· Works in conjunction with Sales Coordinators responsible for follow-up and expediting of dealership orders

· Accountable for timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction

· Coordinates and/or communicates with customers and applicable departments to ensure timely delivery

· Has the ability to drive a truck with a trailer loaded with construction equipment safely

· Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and employee handbook

· Proactively seeks and participates in available company sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set

· Performs all other duties assigned

Required Education, Experience & Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

· Minimum of 3 years prior Outside Sales experience required

· Solid performance history

· Bilingual skills preferred

· Superior communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office programs

· Must be physically able to work in a job sites, indoor-outdoor environment

· Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
