What You’ll Do

Prepare high‑quality dishes for hotel guests, visitors, and team members following Hilton and company recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
Maintain proper storage, labeling, rotation, and sanitation practices in alignment with Hilton safety policies and all local/state health regulations.
Set up, maintain, and break down station prep, for restaurant service, and bar hors d’oeuvres.
Keep all kitchen areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently during and after each shift.
Communicate guest feedback, operational concerns, or improvement opportunities to culinary leadership in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and inventory according to hotel procedures.
Participate in pre‑shift briefings, Hilton‑brand service training, and team meetings.
Assist with special dietary needs and guest requests, offering personalized, solution-oriented service.
Complete all assigned checklists and uphold kitchen SOPs consistently.
Support the broader hotel food & beverage team with additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Abilities

Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, production standards, and delivery documents in English.
Professional communication with fellow team members, management, vendors, and guests.
Confident, safe use of common kitchen tools and equipment.
Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a Hilton‑standard team environment.

Experience

Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role required.
Hotel or high‑volume dining experience is a plus but not required.

Safety & Knowledge

Understanding of food safety principles, sanitation procedures, and safe equipment operation.
Commitment to following all DoubleTree by Hilton and company safety, security, and health policies.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in high‑ and low‑access storage areas.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with breaks.
