About This Position
SUMMARY:
Conveying people on a bus, van, or other light vehicle between locations. $22/hr plus tips. Winter Seasonal through April 15. Full and part time available. *Please only apply if you live in or are planning on moving to the Steamboat Springs, Colorado and have already looked into housing.*
A clean driving record is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conveys passengers to and from predetermined locations Assists passengers in loading and unloading their luggage into the vehicle Maintains decent conversation with customers and assist them with directions Answers passengers questions in a polite and gentle manner Carries out regular check on the shuttle vehicle before and after each days run Carries out repair of minor faults and report major problems, accidents, or damage to the vehicle to the dispatcher or technician Drives Shuttles and Suburbans to pick up guests Maintains the cleanliness of Shuttles and Suburbans Notifies management of any damage, maintenance and repair needs for company vehicles Dispatches other shuttle drivers to appropriate pickups and routes Understand the daily procedures for shuttle drivers. Clean & refuel vehicles at the end of each shift Obeys all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his/her assigned area. This may include plying the predetermined routes, not going beyond stipulated boundaries, and collecting the agreed fare Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Must have a clean driving record and must maintain a clean driving record Other skills required: Must be able to meet company standards to drive vehicles and have a clean drivers record Must be able to safely operate vehicles based on company standards Must possess excellent customer service skills, communication and interpersonal skills Good with logistics and coordination of assignments Personable and able to deal with variety of personality types Flexible working hours and ability to work on weekends Able to work autonomously but also as a team player Positive Attitude to solving problems Come to work in complete uniform compliance. Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach. Ability to come to work regularly and on time, to follow directions, to take criticism, to get along with co-workers and supervisors, to treat co-workers, supervisors and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and to refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior. Ability to use the following communication tools: Telephone, Text Messaging, Email PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
