Job Overview:
We are seeking a VDC Project Executive to manage Virtual Design & Construction teams and ensure compliance with standards, schedules, and budgets. This leadership role focuses on planning, execution, and delivering exceptional customer success while coordinating across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead VDC planning and execution of assigned team members.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external Ops/VDC teams.
- Ensure deliverables are timely and customer success is crucial.
- Monitor compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
- Oversee budgets and schedules for VDC deliverables.
- Advanced understanding of Electrical NEC rules and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture. Acceptable Industry knowledge and Field knowledge in Electrical related aspect.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of BIM/VDC workflows, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam; ability to manage schedules, deliverables, budgets, and a team.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with QA/QC processes and BIM standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience: 7 years in VDC/BIM roles with at least 3 years in a leadership or project management capacity, or a field foreman/supervisor who is ready to transition to office.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, familiarity of Revit, Autocad, Navisworks.
- Excellent understanding of electrical engineering principles, systems, and standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve design issues quickly.
