Meat Cook at Winvian Farm LLC – Morris, Connecticut

Winvian Farm, in the beautiful Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, is seeking a self-motivated, environmentally conscious,

full-time Meat Cook.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in cooking meats and proteins, including grilling, sautéing, braising, roasting etc.

Farm to table! We work with many local farms and have a three-acre organic garden of our own, as well as three greenhouses which are in full production year-round. It is a great opportunity to learn food production from seed to table.

-Full time position offers a great schedule, working alongside a professional team.

-Pay starting at $25.00/hour depending on experience.

-A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for the culinary profession is required.

-Disciplined, detail orientated and proficient in meat preparation & cooking.

-The ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Must understand & maintain health and safety standards.

-2-3 years working in a fine dining kitchen

-Night and weekend hours are required.
