In this role, you will ensure the highest quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing and process improvement. You will design and execute both manual and automated test plans, collaborate closely with development and product teams, and guide junior QA engineers to uphold best practices. Accountabilities:- Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to review requirements, provide feedback, and validate design and functionality.
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers, promoting best practices and testing methodologies.
- Perform regression and performance testing to maintain software stability after enhancements.
- Utilize automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Document, track, and report defects, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Continuously enhance QA processes, methodologies, and testing documentation to optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and Agile development practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with performance, load, mobile, and API testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable.
