As a Human Resources Intern at PBK Architects, you will support the HR team and gain hands-on experience in a professional services environment. You’ll assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee communication, training coordination, and HR system updates. You will also help with communication and support for the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) implementation to ensure employees can access and complete required training.
Your Impact:
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing materials and coordinating orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
- Help respond to general employee questions and direct them to the HR team as needed.
- Support benefits and leave tracking, including basic documentation and follow-up.
- Assist with training initiatives and track completion of assigned courses.
- Support communication and content upload for the Workday LMS implementation.
- Participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement events or process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with administrative tasks and general office support for the HR team.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
- Interest in learning about HR practices and working in a professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and handle confidential information professionally.
