Job Summary:

The Commercial Portfolio Manager II will assist the Commercial RE Relationship Managers by completing activities to help analyze new opportunities and close the loans in accordance with established lending objectives, policies and procedures. They will maintain and service existing customers as well as ensure credit quality guidelines and policies are met and monitored

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

Assists the Commercial RE Relationship Managers by requesting and obtaining all information needed from the client or prospect to underwrite the credit requestAssists the Commercial RE Relationship Managers by working jointly with the credit department to appropriately underwrite the credit, and to develop the appropriate credit structure in relationship to the credit riskAssists the Commercial RE Relationship Managers in the monitoring of the portfolio which includes but not limited to financial tracking and monitoring maturing notes/annual reviewsConducts business in compliance with bank policies and procedures, as well as all federal and state laws and regulationsParticipates with the Commercial RE Relationship Managers in meetings with the client or prospect at either the customer’s place of business or at the bank officesAssists the Commercial RE Relationship Managers by maintaining any sales management reporting. Attends internal sales meetings in support of business development activities.Participates in discussions and subsequent meetings with commercial lending department, industry specialists, and other interested parties to exchange information and ideas, and to seek to understand the opinions of othersPerforms other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferredAt least four years of relevant commercial credit analysis and/or portfolio management experience requiredFour-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience


Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Understanding of commercial and commercial real estate lending and banking regulationsAbility to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the bank organizationCredit analysis and/or portfolio management skills

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $66,000 - $78,000
