About the Role:

The Sales Associate at SPIN INVESTMENT ENTERPRISE LLC in Clearwater, FL, plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service within our smoke shop environment. This position is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing knowledgeable product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The Sales Associate will manage inventory, maintain store cleanliness, and assist in merchandising to promote sales effectively. They will also handle transactions accurately and comply with all legal regulations related to the sale of tobacco and related products. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the store’s success by fostering customer loyalty and supporting daily operational goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to verify customer age and comply with tobacco sales regulations.
  • Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in a smoke shop or related industry.
  • Familiarity with tobacco products, vaping devices, and accessories.
  • Customer service training or certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience with inventory management and merchandising.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about products and making recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products, including tobacco, vaping devices, and accessories, to provide informed guidance to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the sale of tobacco and related products, including verifying customer age.
  • Manage inventory by restocking shelves, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Assist with merchandising and promotional displays to drive sales and highlight featured products.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to meet sales targets and improve store performance.
