SAFEWAZE –BILINGUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are seeking a bilingual Technical Support Specialist to provide expert level technical assistance for fall protection, rescue and safety at height equipment, ensuring customers receive accurate information, troubleshooting support, and product guidance. This role serves as a key technical liaison between customer service, sales, engineering, product development and quality teams, supporting both pre-and post-sales inquiries. The Technical Support Specialist ensures that all support activities comply with industry standards, regulations and Safewaze safety procedures.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

  • Provide prompt, professional technical support through phone, email, and video consultations.
  • Troubleshoot product performance, compatibility, and installation issues with customers, distributors, and field personnel regarding fall protection products such as harnesses, lanyards, SRLs, anchors, and lifeline systems.
  • Familiarity with ANSI Z359 fall protection standards and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Interpret and explain technical data, certifications, and compliance requirements (e.g., ANSI Z359, OSHA 1910/1926).
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to communicate customer feedback and report to Safewaze personnel about product improvement opportunities.
  • Record and report to Safewaze interested party's customer interactions, cases, and resolutions.
  • Maintain and develop deep product knowledge across all fall protection product lines.
  • Assist and often lead in facilitating technical bulletins, technical letters and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Other department duties as assigned.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in technical support or customer service.
  • Working knowledge and experience with the use of fall protection systems.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software and document management systems is required.
  • Read, write and converse in English and Spanish.
  • Strong independent and team environment problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
  • Highly ethical, positive cultural addition, self-motivated.
