The Outpatient Oncology Infusion Staff Nurse is responsible for the safe, evidenced-based administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, blood products, and supportive care treatments in an ambulatory oncology setting. This role delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care to oncology and hematology patients throughout the treatment continuum while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards. The Infusion RN functions as a clinical expert in oncology nursing practice, providing skilled assessment, symptom management, patient education, and coordination of care in collaboration with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members.
