LVN Hospice Runner (Nights) at Acacia Hospice of Southern California LLC – Irvine, California

Responsibilities:
• On-call hospice visits after hours with an opportunity for daytime visits
• Provide accurate and timely documentation
• Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education
• Perform other duties as assigned by the registered nurse
• Other visit as needed based on your availability including routine and PRN, visits, discharges, Deaths, CC, etc.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care
• Active LVN license in the state of California
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum 1 year of hospice experience; strong understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care
• Prior experience in nursing or related medical fields
• Experience as an on-call LVN runner preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Schedule:
• After-hours coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Non-business hours availability required

Service Coverage:
• Orange County and bordering LA County cities

Compensation: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour. Includes on-call and per-visit rates
