About the Role

Park Side Credit Union is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Information Technology to lead our technology vision, cybersecurity posture, and IT operations. This role oversees the IT Manager, all infrastructure and security functions, and the credit union’s business continuity and disaster recovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy, budgeting, risk management, and network security.

• Oversee the IT Manager, including coaching and performance evaluations.

• Manage IT audits (NCUA, State, external) and ensure timely responses.

• Direct major system upgrades, conversions, and enhancement projects.

• Maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, senior management, and vendors.

• Serve as the Credit Union Security Officer overseeing cybersecurity and physical security.

• Manage business continuity and disaster recovery planning and annual training.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Prepare reports for senior leadership and the Board.

• Uphold the Park Side Pillars: Pride, Purpose, Professionalism, and Passion.

Performance Metrics

• Ensure compliance with credit union policies.

• Maintain a well-documented department budget aligned with strategic goals.

• Stay current with industry trends to support future-focused planning.

• Manage remediation of IT and security risks and follow up on audit findings.

Requirements

• Ability to adapt to new software and platforms.

Education & Training

• Formal education and training in Information Technology required.

• 5+ years of related IT experience preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership of teams and departments required.

• Experience working with vendors and negotiating contracts preferred.
