About This Position

Senior Professional Services Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Professional Services Engineer in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of advanced technical delivery and customer success, supporting enterprise clients through complex software deployments, migrations, and infrastructure transformations. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping organizations design, implement, and optimize scalable DevSecOps environments. The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic consulting, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong customer-facing skills. You will lead end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring successful adoption of modern development and deployment platforms. Working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will partner closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences customer outcomes and platform success.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end professional services engagements, guiding customers through installation, migration, training, and advisory services while ensuring successful adoption of complex platforms. You will design and implement scalable deployment architectures, including infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code solutions, and support migration efforts from legacy systems to modern environments.

  • Lead technical delivery of installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements for enterprise customers
  • Design and deploy scalable architectures using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices
  • Manage migrations from multiple source systems to modern SaaS or self-managed environments
  • Act as a technical advisor translating customer needs into actionable implementation plans
  • Collaborate with project and engagement managers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Interface with internal engineering and product teams to resolve technical blockers and improve solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing across engagements
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in customer-facing technical roles, strong cloud and infrastructure expertise, and the ability to lead complex delivery projects independently. You should be comfortable operating in fast-paced, distributed environments and translating technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance.

  • 5+ years of experience in professional services, DevOps, platform engineering, or technical consulting
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef
  • Experience with at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong understanding of Git, version control workflows, and modern software delivery practices
  • Experience delivering customer-facing technical services (installations, migrations, training, advisory)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead technical execution across engagements
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and propose practical solutions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI preferred depending on assignment requirements)
  • Experience with DevSecOps platforms or enterprise software deployment is highly valued
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $106,020 – $226,800 USD (based on experience and location)
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility (up to 100% of base salary for certain roles)
  • Equity compensation and employee stock purchase plan
  • Flexible paid time off and paid parental leave
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plan and financial wellbeing support
  • Home office support and remote work flexibility
  • Professional development fund and continuous learning opportunities
  • Collaborative global, remote-first work culture
