Under the guidance and supervision of the nurse, the supervisor shares the responsibility for total patient needs. As a member of the nursing team, he/she performs a variety of technical and skilled patient care duties, many of which were acquired through nursing education and supervised on-the-job training and experiences. The Registered Nurse shares the responsibility of providing a safe and comfortable environment conducive to healing while delivering quality care. Assist a physician or a nurse practitioner as needed to provide all care.

Requirements:

Associates Degree

Bachelors Degree, preferred

Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course or successful completion of validation exam within 1 year of employment

Basic Critical Care Course or successful completion of validation exams within 2 years of employment

License, Certificates, Etc:

Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia

BLS

Non-violent Crisis Training within 6 months of employment

ACLS within 6 months of employment
