- Define and maintain JOMIS data architecture standards, including data domains and logical data models.
- Document end-to-end data flows, detailing sources, transformations, and storage.
- Design data integration approaches supporting operational workflows and reporting.
- Establish and maintain data governance practices focused on quality and consistency.
- Ensure sensitive data handling, working with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
- Define and map data structures for interoperability across JOMIS systems.
- Support analytics by ensuring data is structured and reliable.
- Enable advanced analytics by improving data readiness.
- Create and maintain architectural artifacts like data flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with teams to translate operational needs into clear data requirements.
- Track data integration efforts in project management tools.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and governance principles.
- Experience in regulated or federal data environments.
- Familiarity with managing sensitive data and privacy controls.
- Ability to document technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
