Beaufort Family Dentistry is adding a Dental Assistant to our growing, fast-paced practice and we want YOU to be part of our team! As our third dental assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping us provide outstanding care to our patients in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral photos
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Provide patient education and post-treatment care instructions
• Help manage office inventory and ensure rooms are stocked

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience in a general practice (1+ years)
• SC Safety Radiation Certified or DANB Certified
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team-environment
• Eaglesoft experience is a plus
