About Company:

Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care is a department of Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. Our adult day care center is a respite care center, designed to offer families the opportunity for a break from caregiving responsibilities. Respite allows the caregiver time to engage in other activities while our trained adult day care staff provides care for your loved one.

About the Role:

The ADC Director plays a pivotal leadership role by overseeing the Adult Day Care (ADC) program to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for clients. This position is responsible for strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight to maintain program effectiveness and sustainability. The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies that enhance service delivery and meet regulatory standards. A key outcome of this role is to foster an environment that supports client well-being, staff development, and community engagement. Ultimately, the ADC Director ensures that the program aligns with organizational goals while addressing the evolving needs of the population served.

Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in aging services.Experience in budgeting and financial management.Knowledge of Calhoun County Senior Services, Veterans Administration, and Senior Funding, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage all aspects of the Adult Day Care program, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with health care regulations.Develop and implement strategic plans to improve program quality and expand service offerings.Oversee financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective operations.Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community partners to deliver integrated care services.Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies to demonstrate effectiveness and compliance.
Skills:

Both Knowledge of Senior programs and budgeting are integral to the ADC Director’s daily responsibilities. Effective leadership, mentorship, and support for staff are imperative to build a collaborative and motivated team environment. Budgeting skills are essential for developing and managing the program’s financial resources, allowing the Director to allocate funds efficiently and maintain fiscal responsibility. These skills also support strategic decision-making to optimize program operations and service delivery.
