Hub Supervisor at Rising Ground, Inc. – Queens, New York

About the Role
The HUB Supervisor will work in collaboration with the Operations Manager to coordinate logistics for the work site. The Supervisor will serve as liaison for matters related to office management in addition to responding to questions and concerns that require follow-up.
What You’ll Do:
- Work in collaboration with the manager of operations to oversee the daily functions of the site
- Provide support and guidance to the administrative professionals at the hub
- Facilitate communications and coordinates activities at the site
- Responsible for keeping inventory and placing orders for supplies, cleaning products, paper goods and kitchen supplies for the hub
- Serve as liaison between staff and operations departments to ensure site safety and security
- Provide site specific orientation to new employees
- Word processing, data entry and typing
- Keep all office equipment operational
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to place orders
- Project management as assigned by the Operations Manager and COO
- All other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
- Manage visitor management system for the hub
- Greet both internal and external visitors while representing Rising Ground in a courteous and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Become end user expert in all systems organization-wide.
Your Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CONNECTIONS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Supervisory Responsibility: Yes
Work Environment: Administrative offices (Travel if required)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday
Additional Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.
- Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required).
