James & Whitney Co. is one of the fastest-growing exterior companies in New England, and we’re looking for an Exterior Sales Specialist who enjoys working directly with homeowners, building trust, and owning the full sales process from inspection to completion.

This is a relationship-driven, field-based role with strong support, clear expectations, and real earning potential for motivated professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Meet with homeowners to inspect roofs and exterior systems and recommend solutions
  • Work a mix of company-provided leads and self-generated opportunities
  • Conduct ~15–20 site visits per week in a defined local market
  • Deliver clear, professional proposals quickly to keep momentum moving
  • Manage your pipeline using a CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
  • Stay engaged with customers post-sale to ensure a smooth experience and generate referrals
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership, production, and operations teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales, construction, home services, or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Willingness to learn exterior systems (or bring existing knowledge)
  • Professional appearance and pride in representing the company
  • Comfortable with ladders, light lifting, and working outdoors
