About This Position
Mammo Technologist

Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented Mammography Technologist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? Join our imaging team and work alongside experienced radiologists and clinical leaders in a supportive, patient-centered environment. In this role, you’ll perform high-quality mammography procedures while ensuring safety, comfort, and accuracy at every step.
What You’ll Do
- Perform a variety of mammography procedures using advanced imaging technology
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the Lead Technologist to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Prioritize patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all procedures
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
- Accurately document procedures using PACS and HIS/RIS systems
- Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and professionalism
What You Bring
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)
Experience
- Previous experience in radiologic technology (preferred)
- Prior mammography experience (strongly preferred)
Licensure & Certification
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiography and Mammography) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
- ARRT certification in Mammography (required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers (required)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Proficiency with imaging systems, including PACS and HIS/RIS
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and technical skills
