This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide project delivery, ensuring that strategic initiatives are executed with precision, speed, and measurable impact. You will lead the evolution of a high-performing Project Management Office into a strategic enabler of business success, overseeing portfolio governance, execution frameworks, and resource optimization. Acting as both a visionary and operator, you will foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across complex, cross-functional initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to influence organizational direction, elevate delivery standards, and champion change at scale. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to translate strategy into action while empowering teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and oversee the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities, capacity, and ROI considerations
  • Establish governance frameworks, decision-making processes, and escalation paths to support effective executive oversight
  • Design and implement scalable delivery models, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent execution across initiatives
  • Drive end-to-end delivery excellence, from project intake through execution, value realization, and post-implementation review
  • Build transparency through reporting, metrics, and performance tracking to monitor project health and outcomes
  • Champion and embed change management practices across all project phases, strengthening organizational readiness and adoption
  • Develop and execute resource planning strategies to optimize capacity, allocation, and delivery timelines
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing PMO team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and eliminate execution bottlenecks while continuously enhancing PMO maturity, tools, and processes
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex cross-functional challenges and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • PMP certification with strong expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies
  • Extensive experience leading enterprise PMOs or large-scale delivery organizations
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution within complex, cross-functional environments
  • Strong background in portfolio management, governance frameworks, and operating model design
  • Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and increasing execution maturity
  • At least 8+ years of leadership experience within a PMO environment, including complex technology initiatives
  • Experience within financial services or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles and quality assurance practices
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities with a proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and standard business applications
