This is a temporary role focusing on managing projects involving Plymouth Housing’s health and safety inspections along with its unit turnover process and will require a dedicated individual who can oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they progress smoothly and stay on schedule. This opportunity demands strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and manage employees, all while upholding key timelines and standards to deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. What you can expect to be doing in this role at Plymouth housing
- Oversee apartment readiness operations related projects from start to completion
- Manage team of health and safety inspectors
- Supervise and coordinate unit turnover team (repairs, drywall installation, custodial duties, maintenance)
- Track all metrics related to the proper execution of health and safety evaluation project and unit turnover
- Create presentations and facilitate meetings related to project deliverables
Some knowledge, skills, and attributes we need from you
- Strong maintenance skills with the ability to observe, evaluate, and verify work to ensure quality and safety (wall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical etc. )
- Familiarity with project management principles and workflow processes
- Proficiency in tracking metrics, reports, and performance
- High level of attention to detail and organization
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to keep track of multiple projects with varying timelines
- Anticipates needs and follows through efficiently
- Demonstrate initiative and accountability
- Supervisory experience
Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous project management experience
- 1+ years of experience housing operations management
- Record of success managing a team
- Experience working or volunteering with a diverse, low-income, or special needs population is desired
