What You Will Do:

You will be part of our Construction Services Group with our Contract Administration team helping manage and deliver successful projects while performing field inspection, verify compliance with the plans and specifications, prepare pay estimates, and produce project documentation for private, municipal, county, TXOT and federal projects. This position will exist within our Construction Services Group and provide you an opportunity to continue to build your career and work in an enjoyable and challenging work environment.

Location: Arlington, TX

As a Construction Graduate Engineer, you will:

• Assist with the inspection, surveying, materials testing and construction documentation for highway, land development and municipal construction projects.
• Specific tasks that you will perform include Inspection, contract administration, quantity and cost estimates, material certification, and project management.
• You willl earn the industry by attending weekly meetings and interacting with contractors, owners, and project stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar degree from an accredited school as well as a FE.
• Seeking 1-4 years of experience in construction or related field is preferred.
• You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of contract administration.
• Background in OpenRoadDesigner/Civil3D will be preferred.
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license witha good driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
• Ability to lift up to 75Ibs.
• You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50-75Ibs. periodically.
• Youare required towork with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. At times you may be working at or on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
