Sr. Software Engineer (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will have a substantial impact by developing next-generation medical informatics applications. Your work will empower doctors, paramedics, and patients across diverse medical environments. You will be responsible for independently developing software features while collaborating with a team on larger projects. This position offers an opportunity to innovate and contribute to life-saving healthcare solutions while working in a flexible and dynamic remote setting.
Accountabilities- Understand requirements from both user and technical perspectives.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software on Windows Servers and ASP.NET framework.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Implement components and applications based on requirements.
- Develop and maintain software.
- Create and execute unit tests and integration tests.
- Perform unit testing of code.
- Maintain existing code and design.
- Provide solutions and recommendations.
- Assist junior team members.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Enforce coding standards for quality.
- Ensure medical patient safety in software products.
- Troubleshoot complex problems.
- Tune for performance and scalability.
- Comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements.
- BS or BE in a computer-related field or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as .NET, C#, JavaScript.
- Experience with web application development and Windows/Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of web development and HTTP protocol.
- Ability to quickly learn applications and feature maintenance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and team collaboration.
- Strong documentation skills including proficiency in Visio, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working proficiency in English.
