Well, we're glad you asked.

With a name like IncredibleBank, we have a lot to live up to. Our name is a promise we make every day to our customers and to our team members (and hey, that could be you!). A promise that we strive to be incredible in everything we do. A promise that will help our customers, fellow team members, and our communities to do the incredible.

At IncredibleBank, we're all about ICE. What's ICE? ICE stands for Incredible Customer ExperienceTM (that's right - an experience so good and so important we trademarked it). ICE illustrates the core values that drive everything we do - how we conduct business, how we treat each other, and how we continuously strive to build on our model of customer-focused banking. Our core values have been in place for more than 50 years and continue to influence every aspect of our operation today.

So - how can you help us live up to our name?

About the Role

We are eager to discuss the prospect of you joining our team as our next incredible team member!

This position allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Lead subject matter expert in luxury lending operations, encompassing both consumer and business loan transactions, with deep expertise in navigating complex federal, state, and municipal lending regulations - including Regulation B (Adverse Action) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This role ensures that all loans are closed and funded accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance, thereby protecting the institution from regulatory risk while supporting high-value client relationships.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert in the Bank’s traditional consumer lending process, overseeing the full loan lifecycle from application thru post-closing.
  • Manage digital loan origination platform and workflow, continuously optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience for both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Guide customers through the online loan application process, providing technical support and personalized assistance to reduce friction, improve satisfaction, and increase application completion rates.
  • Manage the consumer loan pipeline, ensuring timely processing, proactive issue resolution, and effective coordination across departments to maintain service level expectations and support business growth.
  • Communicates directly with loan applicants to provide timely updates and resolve inquiries, ensuring transparency and enhancing the overall customer experience throughout the lending process.
  • Provide daily direction to the lending team, with a focus on both luxury and consumer lending operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive borrower loan files, including financial documentation, post-closing materials and correspondence. Monitor lien placement and insurance coverage to ensure collateral perfection and regulatory compliance. Review loan presentations for accuracy to support sound credit decisions and mitigate risk.
  • Maintain production and fee income reports for Specialty/Luxury Lending Officers, identifying discrepancies and supporting solutions related to pricing strategy, process efficiency, and income tracking. This analysis helps optimize profitability and uphold internal controls.
  • Order and obtain third party documentation such as appraisals, title policies, and flood determinations in accordance with Regulation B requirements.
  • Secure collateral by filing applicable security interests and ensuring legal perfection through coordination with third parties. This includes conducting in-depth research across multiple jurisdictions to comply with federal, state and municipal regulations such as U. S. Coast Guard liens, state departments, mortgage filings, and insurance requirements thereby protecting the Bank’s secured interest.
  • Provides expert guidance on asset registration requirements for Motorcoach, Super Boat/Yacht, and Air Fleet, taking into account tax implications, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, and chartering requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit Department to ensure timely and efficient underwriting of new loan requests, renewals, and modifications to support faster decision making.
  • Identify loans eligible for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) tracking and conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Report trends and findings to the Bank’s compliance team to support regulatory reporting.

This is a regular full-time salaried exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.

This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location on 17th Avenue in Wausau, WI.

About the Company

IncredibleBank first started in 1967 as River Valley Bank with a single location in Rothschild, WI. And we may have strong roots in community banking, but IncredibleBank wasn’t awarded as one of America’s Most Innovative Banks by the Independent Community Bankers of America for our popcorn Fridays. Though we do love free popcorn...

We strive to stay on the leading edge of banking technology with the goal providing the best, simplest way for our customers across the country to do their banking. But if our customers need us, they can pick up the phone and talk to a real person. And that’s what makes us America’s first national online community bank. And who doesn’t love the idea of a national community?

Today, IncredibleBank is a $2.0 billion-asset institution that has grown to 17 brick-and-mortar locations with customers in all 50 states. But we know that as an employer, it’s less about size than it is about culture. That’s why we’re especially proud to have been certified as a Great Place to Work.
