Credit Review Officer (Remote WA, OR, ID & CA)

Join our team as a Credit Review Officer and play a key role in safeguarding the quality and accuracy of our loan portfolio. In this role, you’ll help ensure sound credit practices, strengthen risk management, and support our commitment to doing the right thing for our clients and our communities. You’ll work closely with lending teams across the bank and contribute to a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and continuous learning.
In this role you'll
  • Analyze and review credit and collateral files to identify any documentation gaps, emerging risks, or technical exceptions.
  • Evaluate the financial condition and creditworthiness of borrowers to determine the accuracy of assigned risk ratings.
  • Discuss any observations or findings with lending staff and the Credit Examiner leading the review.
  • Prepare clear, well written findings and contribute to final examination reports.
  • Participate in problem loan calls as needed to stay informed of workout activity.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of newly originated loans on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with sample selection for examinations, using insights gained from desk reviews and monthly reporting.
  • Lead unit credit examinations and guide the review process from start to finish.
  • Support ongoing training and any new improvement initiatives for the Credit Review team.
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
What we're looking for
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
  • You have 4 or more years of experience in internal loan review, regulatory examination, and/or commercial credit, including commercial or real estate lending (Required).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • You have strong knowledge of sound lending practices and bank lending guidelines.
  • You bring a thorough understanding of loan documentation and collateral perfection.
  • You demonstrate strong financial analysis skills and attention to detail.
  • You understand and can interpret federal and state regulations related to consumer, commercial, and real estate lending.
  • You are proficient with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Windows and willing to learn additional programs / systems.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • You are comfortable working in an office environment and able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $88,657-116,819
  • Annual incentive potential
