About This Position
Description of Duties:
- Pick up the flight schedules for specific airline from dispatch.
- Look/collect Final information count to include flight number, type of aircraft, configuration and type of service.
- Locate flights and final/pack specific items on the meal carts.
- Add/check ice cream, condiments, hot entre, check special meals, crew, flight completion and temperature taking before finalizing flight.
- Identify all discrepancies, inform supervisor and ensure that all missing items are placed on the flight.
- Communicate any problems with the flight to dispatch.
- Perform additional duties as needed.

- Must be able to read, speak and write English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accurate, organized, thorough, pays attention to detail
- Need to understand and interpret Airline SITA telexes
- Strong mathematical skills
- Must be able to interact with all levels of employees
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform duties in refrigerated location
- Must be self-directed and be able to work with little supervision
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Flexible, able to work any shift
- Must have a good performance and attendance record
Eligible candidates must:
Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
Possess basic math skills
MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week.
Additional eligibility requirements and details:
This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 12 hours a day
