About This Position

Description:

The WNBA Seattle Storm is seeking a professional, high-energy individual with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional VIP service and contributing to the overall success of the Seattle Storm’s Premium Hospitality operations. The Premium Hospitality Service Associate will report directly to the Premium Hospitality Team and provide comprehensive support across all premium initiatives and activations. This role is responsible for assisting with game-day operations, supporting client-facing experiences, and completing assigned in-office tasks that contribute to the smooth execution of premium services. This is a seasonal, part-time position requiring approximately 30 hours per week.

In-Office Responsibilities:

  • Media Coordination: Collect, manage, and submit client Jumbotron messages in alignment with established game-day deadlines and departmental standards.
  • Collateral Production: Receive, document, and process VIP signage requests from clients and internal teams; create and prepare all related signage and visual materials for each game day.
  • Communication: Administrative assistance with inbound email requests, providing timely, accurate, and customer-focused communication.
  • Lead Management: Submit all inbound client interest forms and notify agents of potential leads in accordance with established procedures.
  • Inventory Oversight: Oversee and maintain inventory of premium merchandise, ensuring accurate organization and availability for game-day and client needs.
  • Activation Prep: Assemble and prepare VIP gift bags for designated games, activations, and premium experiences.
  • Credential Tracking: Manage, track, and organize premium VIP credentials to ensure proper distribution and operational efficiency on game days.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and operational support to the Premium Hospitality team as needed to ensure seamless execution of departmental initiatives.

Game Day Responsibilities:

  • Operational Execution: Execute the full setup and teardown of Premium Hospitality spaces, ensuring accurate signage placement, adherence to cleanliness standards, catering readiness, and proper organization of all premium elements.
  • Guest Relations: Greet, escort, and support premium guests for all scheduled experiences, including pre-door and post-door activations, while delivering a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Experience Support: Provide operational support for post-game premium experiences, including guest engagement, area reset, and closing procedures.
  • VIP Engagement: Maintain consistent, high-quality touchpoints with VIP clients throughout the game day to ensure gameday satisfaction and promptly address any requests, needs, or concerns.
  • Gift Coordination: Coordinate and deliver VIP gifts in alignment with guest itineraries and premium experience requirements.
  • Merchandise Management: Manage, prepare, and deliver premium merchandise packages in accordance with guest specifications and established department processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a sports environment or similarly fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, guests, and internal staff.
  • Core Skills: Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Efficiency: Excellent time-management abilities, with proven success in handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment: Availability to work all 22 home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Collaboration: Strong team-orientation, with the ability to collaborate across departments and support shared goals.
  • Logistics: Availability to work onsite for special tasks and game-day preparation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Dynamics CRM.
