Staff Accountant at RAINIER PURE BEEF COMPANY – Woodland, Washington

The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close, prepare reconciliations, and help ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Track fixed assets and depreciation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
• Help maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
• Support state and local tax filings as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience in a privately owned or mid-sized company
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Familiarity with Washington tax requirements
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
