This role is designed for a highly creative and performance-driven video editor who specializes in producing short-form, high-conversion video ads for paid social platforms. You will work at the intersection of creative storytelling, marketing performance, and AI-powered production tools to build ads that directly impact growth metrics. The position focuses on fast iteration, data-informed creative decisions, and continuous optimization across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You will be responsible for transforming ideas into compelling ad creatives that capture attention, drive engagement, and maximize conversions. Operating in a remote and fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with growth and marketing teams to test and refine winning creative strategies. - Create high-performing, direct-response video ads tailored for paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Own the full creative process from ideation, scripting, editing, and final delivery of ad creatives.
- Develop multiple variations of video ads optimized for speed, performance, and testing.
- Use AI-powered tools for video generation, editing, voiceover, and workflow acceleration.
- Rapidly test and iterate creatives based on performance data such as CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to align creative direction with campaign goals and messaging strategies.
- Source, edit, and assemble UGC-style content, stock footage, and branded assets into cohesive narratives.
- Monitor creative trends in DTC, eCommerce, and paid social advertising to inform production strategies.
- Continuously optimize hooks, pacing, storytelling structure, and visual engagement elements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in video editing, ideally within an advertising agency or consumer brand environment.
- Proven experience creating high-performing direct-response or paid social video ads.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and conversion-driven creative strategies.
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience using AI-based editing or creative tools to enhance production efficiency.
- Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines while managing multiple creative projects.
- Strong storytelling skills with a focus on hooks, pacing, and audience retention.
- Experience working with DTC or eCommerce brands is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and performance metrics is a strong advantage.
- Bonus: experience with tools like Runway, Pika, Descript, or similar AI platforms.
