This role sits at the intersection of advanced analytics, healthcare market access strategy, and patient support program optimization within a complex and evolving U.S. healthcare landscape. You will lead analytical efforts that shape how patient affordability and access programs are designed, measured, and improved across key therapeutic areas. Acting as a strategic partner to Patient Access and Reimbursement and Brand Marketing teams, you will transform diverse healthcare data sources into actionable insights that directly influence program effectiveness. The position combines hands-on advanced analytics with leadership responsibilities, including managing a distributed team and guiding cross-functional decision-making. You will work across multiple datasets and platforms to identify risks, opportunities, and external market impacts affecting patient support strategies. This is a high-impact role where your insights directly contribute to improving patient access to critical therapies.
- Lead the development and evolution of analytics roadmaps supporting patient support program (PSP) strategy and expansion across therapeutic areas
- Own and manage analytics platforms, including rollout, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Patient Access and Reimbursement and Brand Marketing teams to define and prioritize analytics needs supporting PSP effectiveness
- Provide strategic leadership to a global analytics team, ensuring high-quality execution and insight generation
- Monitor program performance and deliver recommendations to senior leadership on optimization opportunities
- Integrate multiple data sources to assess the impact of policy changes, market events, and industry dynamics on access and reimbursement
- Develop and present recurring performance reports tracking PSP outcomes against business objectives
- Conduct advanced analytics including patient-level analysis, segmentation, time-series modeling, and diagnostic studies
- Build and maintain scalable data models and insights using tools such as Python, SQL, R, and Excel
- Collaborate across functions to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceuticals, healthcare, consulting, or related analytical roles focused on access, reimbursement, or payer dynamics
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including payer, pharmacy, and access models
- Proven experience in contracts, pricing, value strategy, or market access analytics preferred
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex, ambiguous business challenges
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders
- Expertise in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel
- Experience working with healthcare datasets (claims, formulary, specialty pharmacy, prescription data)
- Familiarity with advanced analytics methods such as segmentation, forecasting, and longitudinal analysis
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data/ML environments such as Databricks is a plus
- Knowledge of ML/DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with strong executive presence and ability to simplify complex insights
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
